League One Results 26th December Part 1

Brighton & Hove Albion 0-0 Leyton Orient
Andrew Crofts got himself sent off following two yellow card offences but Brighton still finished the match with a point.
Craig Davies stayed on the bench even though they had a spare substitute.

Bristol Rovers OFF Walsall
Ben Swallow misses out on getting his expected start for Bristol Rovers after the game is called off. Rhys Evans and Byron Anthony miss out on sitting on the bench and you should have been able to work out for yourself that there’s also no game for Walsall’s Rhys Weston and Mark Bradley.

Charlton Athletic 2-2 Swindon Town
Charlton were reduced to 9 men in the first half after being 1-0 ahead and promptly went 2-1 down (okay ‘promptly’ is not quite the right word, it took them 15 minutes) but with the help of Grant Basey (who got the assist) they got a last minute equaliser.

Gillingham 0-1 Brentford
Lewis Price played in goal for Brentford following an injury to Wojciech Szczesny so I was really happy when Brentford won, even though I’m not supposed to like other London clubs really except Arsenal and Millwall. Lewis kept a clean sheet too although he had to work for it and made at least one excellent save. Brentford did go down to 10 men but as Gillingham also only had 10 men by that point it wasn’t a major problem.
James Wilson was again not in the squad as Brentford have too many loan signings.
