Bournemouth 1-2 Bury
Joe Partington, who was an injury/illness doubt, stayed on the bench as Bournemouth lost to Bury.
Burton Albion 1-1 Shrewsbury Town
Tony James’ Burton were down to ten men after 27 minutes but they fought back to get a draw against Shrewsbury Town, who possibly should have brought Will Richards off the bench.
Chesterfield 1-0 Torquay United
Mark Crossley was back on the bench for Chesterfield but Robert Page played the first 68 minutes and can probably take some of the credit for the clean sheet.
Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 Crewe Alexandra
Goalkeeper Tony Roberts helped Dagenham to a clean sheet as they beat Crewe Alexandra. One of his saves in particular was excellent. It’s been a good weekend for Welsh goalkeeper saves.
Grimsby Town 0-0 Cheltenham Town
Josh Low and David Pipe played the full game for Cheltenham but they could still only manage a point against struggling Grimsby. Of course technically Cheltenham are struggling Cheltenham, especially after today.
