League One Results 9th March

Carlisle United 1-3 Millwall
Millwall bounced back from their draw at the weekend to beat Carlisle. Jason Price’s loan with Oldham Athletic has come to an end but Oldham chose not to extend his loan and instead he has joined Millwall’s opponents, Carlisle United, on loan. But Jason wasn’t in the squad to face his parent club. He probably hadn’t quite joined them yet.

Milton Keynes Dons 2-1 Swindon Town
MK Dons are back in the play-off race after treating Swindon Town to their second defeat in a matter of days. Jermaine Easter got the assist for MK Dons’ first goal.

Oldham Athletic 2-0 Leyton Orient

Oldham got a very important win that leaves them four points outside the relegation zone. Jason Price was hoping to extend his loan but he wasn’t able to due to complications and he has joined Carlisle United on loan instead. Oldham’s other Welsh loan striker, Daniel Nardiello, is still there but he picked up a hamstring injury and had to be substituted. I bet the manager wishes he’d kept Jason now. Joe Jacobson played the full match.

Tranmere Rovers 1-4 Leeds United
Leeds managed to get a comparatively rare three points as they beat Tranmere Rovers. Tranmere are still without the injured Ash Taylor.
