Stockport County 0-3 Tranmere Rovers
Stockport finished their season with another defeat – but they won’t be joined in League Two by Tranmere. Tranmere’s win and Gillingham’s (not unexpected) defeat saved them from relegation and they finished 19th.
Owain fon Williams was again on the bench for Stockport. Ash Taylor played for Tranmere.
Walsall 2-1 Milton Keynes Dons
Walsall’s victory moved them up to a very respectable 10th place – climbing over MK Dons in the process. MK Dons, after making an early run for the play-offs, only just finished in the top half of the table.
Walsall are now completely Welshless. Rhys Weston was released by mutual consent prior to this game, having decided he wants to play for a club nearer his family, who live in Scotland. Mark Bradley spent his last game on the bench for Walsall before also being released.
Jermaine Easter played for MK Dons despite continuing problems with his thigh. He got the assist for MK Dons’ goal.
