Ben Davies played both games as Notts County beat Cardiff City 2-1 (oops) and lost 1-0 to Sheffield United. The Sheffield United goal was obviously scored by Ched Evans. Ben nearly equalised. The Cardiff game was a blip so I’m not going to talk about it.
Oldham Athletic manager Paul Dickov has received enquiries about some of his transfer-listed players but I don’t know if any of the enquiries were about Joe Jacobson. But they probably were.
Leicester City beat Peterborough United 5-1 in a penalty (Peterborough must be quite glad now they got relegated) but Arron Davies had a good game for the losing side.
Carl Fletcher has an ankle injury so he can’t play for Plymouth Argyle at the moment.
Anthony Pulis dislocated his shoulder in Southampton’s match against Farnborough and despite the shoulder’s popping back in again all by itself (ewww but good) it looks like he could be out for a while.
Ash Taylor will be out for 3-4 months of the season after having knee surgery. The Tranmere Rovers player injured his knee in training.
