Welsh Player News (and rumours) 2nd August, League Two (Part 1)

Aaron Morris made his first appearance for new club Aldershot Town in a 2-1 victory over League One’s Colchester United. He came on as a substitute in place of Darren Jones. Colchester’s squad included Lloyd James, Tom Bender and Lee Beevers.

Michael Flynn’s commanding presence in midfield should help Bradford City to win promotion this year, according to a Sky Sports blog.

Tony James
stayed on the bench as Burton Albion lost to Kidderminster Harriers. But every team is allowed an off-day and it’s better if it happens in pre-season.

Cheltenham Town did pretty well to draw with Bristol Rovers. Josh Low made a very fine pass. Josh Klein-Davies came off the bench after 73 minutes.

The Football Network preview Chesterfield’s season, saying Craig Davies is the pick of their new signings. I quite agree. No mention of Mark Crossley or Robert Page but I’m sure they’ll be a big help too.
