Lincoln City v Hereford United
Hereford still aren’t quite out of the bottom two but if they do better than Gillingham this weekend, that will be enough. And considering Gillingham (no wins away for years) and Hereford (no wins at home this season) are both playing away, Hereford might fancy their chances.
Ryan Green will be back in central defence for Hereford after doing a great job as a stand-in full-back. Stuart Fleetwood should be back in the squad after serving a one-match suspension but Ryan Valentine is out with a stomach ’problem’ – which I would guess means an injury but I’m not sure.
Port Vale v Wycombe Wanderers
Port Vale will hope to continue their strong home form and keep their place in the automatic promotion places but Wycombe are creeping at the table – and they haven’t actually lost away this season.
Gareth Owen should start for Port Vale but Lewis Haldane might not be ready for another start just yet.
Shrewsbury Town v Southend United
Shrewsbury are unbeaten at home this season and could replace Port Vale in the top three if results go their way. Southend are ten points behind them.
Tom Bradshaw could return to Shrewsbury’s squad after recovering from an ankle injury.
Peter Gilbert should be in defence for Southend.
Stockport County v Torquay United
Stockport have only won once at home this season and Torquay seem to be on another of those long unbeaten runs that saw them break a club record last time.
Unfortunately Stockport don’t have any goalkeepers on loan at Torquay so they won’t be able to beat them in the sneaky way they beat Bury.
Anthony Pulis should be in midfield for Stockport.
