Rhys Taylor has the option to move to another club in January and considering that he’d actually pretty good for a Chelsea goalkeeper, I would certainly have forgiven him if he did just that (although I’m not so sure about the Crewe fans). But the good news is that he hasn’t been corrupted by Ashley Cole and he does know what the word ‘loyalty’ means.

Hereford United
Ryan Green returned from suspension to play Hereford’s final two matches of the season, in which they were unbeaten.

All the same, Hereford probably missed Ryan Valentine, who is still sidelined with a stomach injury.

Have Macclesfield Town actually superglued Sam Wedgbury to the bench or do they just not want him to play? I don’t know which is more ridiculous. I’m sure it’s no coincidence that they didn’t win any of their last three games.

Paul Walker remains Northampton’s second-choice keeper despite apparently being too young to play in League Two.

Oxford United
Rhys Day was destined never to play with Oxford in the Football League. He spent the first part of the season absent with a knee injury before being sent out on loan to former club Mansfield Town. He has now signed for Mansfield permanently.
