Well, here I am in Wales. I only have 11 minutes before my Internet session runs out so this might be a bit bitty and incomplete.
There have been a few more injury dropouts and Craig Bellamy yesterday made his monthly threat to quit football (slight variation in that this time he's thinking of quitting club football too). I really hope he won't as he's a great player for Wales (and Manchester City although I don't mind hugely if they are weakened by his absence, they have more than their fair share of good players already). I love his idea about playing for Cardiff City. I don't know how they're going to afford either him or his wages but other than that small stumbling block, I think he'd do really well there and help Cardiff up into the Premier League where I like to think they belong.
Ched Evans won't be able to play after all, despite hoping his ankle would be better in time. Wales' striking options have been further depleted after Simon Church injured his calf. With Sam Vokes already out, this leaves Craig Bellamy, Steve Morison and Rob Earnshaw as the only fit strikers although midfielder David Cotterill can play there. Midfielder Dave Edwards is also out after suffering a groin injury. There was concern that Craig Bellamy and Gareth Bale might pull out but Craig looked fine on TV last night and Gareth has just driven past me and one would assume that if he can drive, he must be able to play. et's hope so anyway. I really want to see Wales win tonight.
These are the players who could feature in tonight's match.
