Welsh Player News (and rumours) 29th June ( League 2)
Burton Albion and Rotherham United are interested in Mark Bradley, who was released by Walsall at the end of last season.
Michael Flynn says he had interest from a number of clubs at higher levels – but he still chose to play for Bradford City. He thinks next season might finally be ‘their’ season.
Josh Low says he really enjoyed last season with Cheltenham Town and that's why he's signed a new contract. The law can wait.
Crewe Alexandra are still hoping to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Rhys Taylor on loan. It’s close but it’s not there as yet. And it looks as though Crewe manager Dario Gradi has the sense to play him.

Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are fighting it out to sign Andy Dorman, who chose to leave Celtic after his contract came to an end. Portsmouth have also shown an interest.
Stoke City and Celtic are both hoping to sign Swansea City defender Ashley Williams.
Wexham’s Neil Taylor is very close to signing for Swansea City.
Shaun MacDonald was offered the chance to move to Yeovil Town full time following two very successful loan spells there last season. He names fellow Welshman Nathan Jones as just one of the people there who really helped him. However his loyalty lies with parent club Swansea City and he’s signed a new contract there. Well Shaun if it all goes tits up (not that I think it will) there’s still Somerset. Yeovil Town coach Darren Way thinks Shaun should do well this season.

It looks like Cardiff City’s cunning plans have been foiled. Roberto Mancini wants to keep Craig Bellamy at Manchester City – and he wants to stay.
England’s incompetence has been keeping Robbie Savage awake at night. It’s a good thing Wales are such a great team or he’d never sleep at all.
John Oster has now officially signed a new two-year contract at Doncaster Rovers.

Blackpool maneger Ian Holloway is trying to sign defender Danny Gabbidon from West Ham United. Provided Rob Edwards doesn’t leave, Holloway will be able to play three Welshmen in defence – Danny, Rob and Neal Eardley.
David Vaughan might be quiet in the dressing room but his feet talk more than well enough.
Mark Hughes has been offered the job of managing Dubai club Al Ahi. Maybe he’d even do it for free? Who needs to be paid to live in Dubai? But he might go to Fulham instead, if current manager Roy Hodgson joins Liverpool.
This is London thinks Owen Hargreaves is not the answer to England’s problems. I just wish they’d worked that out before he played his first game. Then he could have played for the best country in the world instead. Owen and Michael Owen are both fit for pre-season training. Apart from the whole England and Manchester United thing, I’m thrilled for them.

Welsh Player News (and rumours) Leagues One and Two
League One
Midfielder David Pipe, who was released by Bristol Rovers this season, has been jailed for more than three years for assault. Maybe I shouldn't feel any sympathy for him at all but he's got a very difficult time ahead of him and the fact I think the judge made the right decision won't change that. He did something awful and hurt someone, not just physically. But that doesn't mean he's an awful person or that he won't now become a better person.
Jason Price has signed for Carlisle United on a free transfer after being released by Millwall. Jason spent part of last season on loan at Carlisle and clearly they liked what they saw. Quite right too. He has an impressive goalscoring record for Carlisle and lovely hair. He says he’s taking his coachng badges and wants to help young players.
Yeovil Town assistant manager Nathan Jones will continue to play next season despite being 37 now.
League Two
Bradford City’s Michael Flynn is excited by new signing Tommy Docherty.
Josh Low has signed an extention to his Cheltenham Town contract. I thought he had but either I’ve got it wrong or Sky Sports has and it’s probably them.
Hereford United have sold Welsh defender Darren Jones to Aldershot Town. Darren was given an improved offer by Hereford but he thought he’d go to a club with a manager.
Port Vale are going on a pre-season tour of Ireland and Gareth Owen says it won’t be easy.
Tom Bradshaw is one of just two fit strikers at Shrewsbury Town. New manager Graham Turner says he wants to sign a striker but obviously he means as backup. Of course he must mean that ;)
