Blackburn Rovers 2-1 Arsenal
I really wasn’t as surprised as I should have been by this result but I’m not angry about it. I love all the players, they’ve improved on last season despite playing with a weaker squad and I can’t wait for next season.
Jason Brown was on the bench for Blackburn. Aaron Ramsey was one of a very long list of injured players.
Wigan Athletic 2-2 Hull City
Hull could have won this and delayed their relegation by a few more days but instead they decided to go for the 20-0 win they needed to save them (and you really can’t blame them for that). Then Wigan got an equaliser. Don’t you just hate it when Wigan do that?
Jason Koumas was out of Wigan’s side as usual. Boaz Myhill was on the bench for Hull.
