Nicky Adams returned to Brentford when his loan spell came to an end but he only stayed long enough to sort out a permanent move to Rochdale.

Byron Anthony’s Christmas wish was probably to score no own goals, and miss no penalties. And he didn’t do any of those things. But neither did he win a match.
