Carling Cup Postponements 6th January

The first leg is now taking place on the planned date of the second leg and the second leg is taking place on the date of Premiership fixtures… I’m glad I’m not the person who works the fixture list out. I’d get so confused.
So we’ll have to wait for another day for the face-off between Craig Bellamy and Ryan Giggs. It’s Craig’s turn to win and you know what he’s like when he doesn’t get his own way.

Blackburn Rovers P-P Aston Villa
Another postponement and still more confusion for the fixture lists people. This could have meant another appearance for Jason Brown but Blackburn tend not to play him against Big Four sides. But another start for Villa’s James Collins would have been possible. But who knows what the situation will be by the time this match is replaced
