Stoke City 2-2 Wigan Athletic
Ryan Shawcross got a goal and an assist but Stoke could only manage a point against Wigan. Danny Collins was surpsisingly on Stoke's bench but Jason Koumas got a rare start for Bolton and played well, coming close to getting an assist. He only lasted 78 minutes but it’s a… well, it’s a start.
Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
It wasn’t a great match for the Welsh players but it was a good one for Arsenal. Dave Edwards played 59 minutes before being stretchered off with an ankle injury. It is never nice to see that happen to any player but maybe it does hurt more when it happens to a player from one of ‘your’ teams.
Wayne Hennessey was on the bench again and after Marcus Hahneman’s performance he might stay there.
Gareth Bale stayed on the bench for Tottenham which makes a nice change. Usually he comes on when they’re losing.

Premiership Results 12th December Part 1
Birmingham City 1-0 West Ham United
Danny Gabbidon played the whole match but Jack Collison didn’t come on until 69 minutes which was probably part of the problem. West Ham just don’t have that many players who can score goals. Jack is one of the few so he needs to play (unless he’s got some injury I don’t know about).
Bolton Wanderers 3-3 Manchester City
Man City went back to drawing ways and really they were lucky to get a point after their best player Craig Bellamy was booked twice in the same minute. Some say he dived, some say he was fouled, some say he’s just annoying and should be sent of every game…which is kind of impossible. Sam Ricketts was on Bolton’s bench.
Hull City 0-0 Blackburn Rovers
Boaz Myhill returned in goal for Hull and made a number of excellent saves as his side got point. It wasn’t his fault the forwards didn’t play as well as him. Jason Brown was on the bench for Blackburn.
Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa
Villa took an early lead any slight interest I had in Man U winning evaporated once Ryan Giggs was substituted at half-time. James Collins came on as a substitute for Villa in the 68th minute.

Wales player news December 12th
John Hartson says he hates the England football team and he hopes they’re out of the World Cup as soon as possible. Well that’s what it says in Wales Online. Maybe they exaggerated a bit. Anyway I love his passion for Wales and I can’t really blame him for hating England because they are local rivals in a sense and there aren’t any other ‘local’ teams that are good enough to hate except Ireland and you can’t hate them, not after Thierry Henry.
Aaron Ramsey’s younger brother Josh has been playing for the Under-18 Rugby League team. Wales Online are speculating over who will qualify for the World Cup first. I think it’s probably Josh to be honest. And he’ll get bigger crowds watching him too. But however unWelsh of me it might be, I’ll always love football best and I'm glad Aaron chose to play football instead of rugby. Arsenal and Wales just wouldn't be as good without him. And they're my favourite teams in the world.
Jack Collison has been named BBC Young London Player of the Year. Well done Jack :D
Reading are getting desperate. They're even going after injured players now. But okay, I can't blame them for being interested in Doncaster Rovers player Brian Stock.
Arron Davies was on loan to Brighton but Gus Poyet didn’t want him and sent him back to Nottingham Forest. Now Forest manager Billy Davies doesn’t want him either but he was quite nice about it, at least to the Press. He says he doesn’t want to stand in the way of Arron’s career so he’s giving him the chance to find a club that’s right for him. And I hope he does, he’s not a bad player at all. Still it’s not the nicest Christmas present Poyet could have given Arron...

League One Result December 12rh
Brighton & Hove Albion 1-2 Colchester United
I personally like seeing Colchester playing so well. It’s just not nearly as much fun for the Brighton players. Andrew Crofts didn’t manage to score for Brighton and Craig Davies wasn’t even on the bench. But let’s look at this another way. Andrew Crofts played the full match and Craig Davies is in no way to blame for the defeat. There, that’s better.

League Two Fixtures December 12th
Chesterfield v Cheltenham Town
There has been a lot of talk about giving Mark Crossley his chance as Chesterfirld’s first choice goalkeeper but Cheltenham’s Josh Low will be hoping this doesn’t happen as he aims to best his former side.
Dagenham & Redbridge v Bury
Daniel Nardiello will be looking to be on the scoresheet again for Bury – and sadly, Dagenham’s Tony Roberts is likely to provide him with the opportunity. This is Daniel’s last game for Bury on his current loan deal but Bury manager Alan Krill is hoping to keep him for longer.
Lincoln City v Rochdale
Anthony Pulis is a major doubt for Lincoln. In other words,he's much better.
Macclesfield Town v Hereford United
Ryan Green was injured when Hereford lost to Notts County last week but he has a small chance of playing.
Northampton Town v Port Vale
Gareth Owen is back in full training following an operation on his cheekbone so he could play against Peter Gilbert’s Northampton.

League One Fixture December 12th Part 2
Southampton v Tranmere Rovers
Lloyd James and his Southampton team-mates aim to show Ash Taylor’s Tranmere why they won’t be involved in this season’s relegation battle – and Tranmere will.
Yeovil Town v Norwich City
Shaun MacDonald should play for Yeovil as long as his loan hasn’t ended. Owain Tudur Jones still has an injured groin and I can only assume Rhoys Wiggins still has an injured knee.
League One Fixture December 12th Part 1
Brentford v Leeds United
Loan singing James Wilson will return to Brentford’s squad after a ban but Lewis Price could have been packed off back to Derby County. Leeds’ loanee Sam Vokes is definitely still with them and should return to the side after being cup-tied against poor Staines Town.
Bristol Rovers v Swindon Town
Byron Anthony, Ben Swallow and goalkeeper Rhys Evans will all be hoping for a start for Bristol Rovers. But I said the same thing last time and it didn't happen.
Leyton Orient v Milton Keynes Dons
Jermaine Easter should return for MK Dons after serving his one-match ban.
Millwall v Walsall
Millwall practically have their whole team injured but this could be good news as far as Jason Price’s chances of playing are concerned. Mark Bradley and Rhys Weston – who thinks promotion is a possibility for Walsall - are likely to play for the away side.
Oldham Athletic v Exeter City
Richard Duffy could start again for Exeter. If not, he’ll be on the bench with Robert Edwards.
