Wales Online says that clubs from six different countries are interested in signing Joe Ledley from Cardiff City. England’s Everton, Stoke City, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Scotland’s Celtic and Rangers, Roma, two other top clubs from Italy, Panathinaikos from Greece, and Turkey’s Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. Not to mention Wales’ Cardiff, who really want to keep him. They’ve given him an extra-big contract offer.

Rhys Williams has been omitted from Australia’s 23-man World Cup squad. Manager Pim Verbeek says Rhys would have been included if he had recovered from his pelvis injury but he hasn’t. Rhys says he’s heartbroken about being left out but proud to have got so close to playing in a World Cup.
Rhys’ manager Gordon Strachan, meanwhile, has refuted claims that Rhys was receiving injections before every match he played for Middlesbrough
Millwall have released striker Jason Price. He spent the end of last season on loan at Carlisle United and he says he’s interested in joining permanently as he enjoyed his loan spell and he’d like to be nearer his son.
The season has only just finished but Hal Robson-Kanu is looking forward to playing in the next one for Reading.
