Colchester United v Carlisle United
Colchester’s Christian Ribeiro and Lee Beevers are both injured and neither is looking that to recover in time. Colchester should be fine though.
Leyton Orient v Bristol Rovers
Leicester’s Nicky Adams and Bristol Rovers’ Byron Anthony haven’t been playing a lot recently but Nicky’s loan for Leicester and Byron’s promotion to the starting line-up at Rovers has seen both players doing well. Byron has now signed his new contract which will keep him at the club until 2012 as long as no-one buys him.
Rovers’ Ben Swallow is pushing for a regular place in the starting line-up. I don’t know if he’ll get there this week or even this season but it will happen soon and then the opposition will need to watch out.
Stockport County v Oldham Athletic
Owain fon Williams would love a clean sheet and lots of points but maybe he won’t still be at Stockport for this game. Joe Jacobson’s Oldham have been struggling but they have now signed Jason Price on loan from Millwall and he should be a great help. He’s only here for a month but that could mean 5-6 matches.
Walsall v Charlton Athletic
Rhys Weston and Mark Bradley are still waiting for Walsall’s first win for two whole months. But Grant Basey’s Charlton will be extra desperate to put pressure on the top two.
