Championship Results 16th January Part 3

Sheffield United 1-0 Middlesbrough
Ched Evans should have got an assist but the player he passed to messed up (I do know who it was but I don’t want to name names). Danny Coyne played in goal for Middlesbrough and letting in just one goal isn’t that bad really, it would have been fine if the Boro strikers had scored a couple. Rhys Williams wasn’t in the squad due to a pelvic problem which sounds slightly naughty but maybe that’s just me.

Swansea City 1-0 Leicester City
I was very happy to see David Cotterill and Joe Allen start in this match as they have been overlooked recently – Joe was an attacking threat and David came very close to an assist after a fantastic run. Ashley Williams surprisingly did not come on until the 78th minute. David Cornell was on the bench. Andy King played for Leicester but he didn’t get a goal this time although he nearly got an assist. I bet he was disappointed but without him Leicester wouldn’t be as high up the table as they are.
