League Two Results 23rd January Part 1

Aldershot Town 2-1 Bournemouth
Joe Partington was left out of the squad entirely which was a worry as he usually makes the bench even when he’s not fully fit.

Bury 1-0 Hereford United
Hereford were missing the injured Ryan Green but his fellow defenders Ryan Valentine and Darren Jones did at least only let in one goal.

Cheltenham Town 1-4 Rochdale
Strange it sounds, Rochdale are getting promoted. Cheltenham will be disappointed but not many teams will beat Rochdale this season. Next season could well be a different matter but next season they won’t be in the same division as Cheltenham. But Cheltenham might not have got their goal if Josh Low hadn’t made the initial shot. David Pipe seems to have impressed at Cheltenham as well as there are rumours that he’ll have his loan from Bristol Rovers extended.

Lincoln City 2-1 Bradford City
Michael Flynn played the full match as his side lose 2-1 to Lincoln.

Morecambe 2-1 Barnet
Darren Moss stayed on the bench as Morecambe edged closer to the play-offs.
