Pre-season Friendlies (Part Seven)

Tivertown 0-2 Blackpool
Rob Edwards still doesn’t have a contract or anything like that as far as I know but there was no doubt which team he belonged to – he scored the winning goal (though Goal.com unfortunately managed to get his name wrong). Maybe he can do the same against Chelsea this season. Neal Eardley and David Vaughan also played.

Yeovil 0-1 Swansea City
David Cotterill’s 5th minute goal gave Swansea an away victory over Yeovil. David and Ashley Willliams both started the match. David Cornell, Jazz Richards, Neil Taylor and Shaun MacDonald were four of elevel 60th minute substitutions. Shaun, who spent much of last season at Yeovil, got a warm reception from the fans although they might have changed their tune if Shaun’s shot had gone into the goal. Shaun was very happy with the game but Ashley wasn’t. Kerry Morgan was unable to play as he has fractured a bone in his foot.
