Arron Davies has signed for Peterborough United. He was released from Nottingham Forest in December and wanted to sign for Yeovil Town but as he’s already played for Forest and on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, he was unable to sign for them and instead signed non-contract terms at Brighton before being sent on loan to Yeovil. But instead of signing for Yeovil, Arron decided to go to a training camp with Peterborough – and you can only assume he had a pretty good time. He has signed a two-year contract.
Joe Ledley is now a Celtic player. As Celtic are outside the English league system, Cardiff City don’t get any compensation. I bet they’re just thrilled, especially considering their financial problems. Before the signing was even announced, Joe was named in Celtic’s squad for their tour of North America. Cardiff City manager Dave Jones was surprised by Joe’s choice. That makes at least two of us. I blame Craig Bellamy.
Goalkeeper Glyn Garner has signed for newly-promoted Blue Square Premier side Newport County.
