Lincoln City P-P Accrington Stanley
Anthony Pulis woudn’t be playing even if there was a match because he’s gone back to Southampton, who don’t have a game this weekend.
Morecambe P-P Burton Albion
The lack of a match might come as a relief to Burton – who have just two fit central defenders, one of them being Tony James. Morecambe’s Darren Moss misses out on playing against him.
Northampton Town P-P Chesterfield
No match for Peter Gilbert (Northampton) or Mark Crossley or Robert Page (both Chesterfield)
Port Vale P-P Bradford City
Gareth Owen has expressed his gratitude to Nantwich Town, who have allowed Port Vale to train on their all-weather pitch. Port Vale still haven’t managed to buy Lewis Haldane from Bristol Rovers but they’ve got him on loan until the end of the season. Michael Flynn misses the chance to play for Bradford.
Rotherham United P-P Bournemouth
Joe Partington is spared from having to travel all the way to Rotherham.
Shrewsbury Town P-P Barnet
Will Richards might have been in Shrewsbury’s squad but he isn’t because there isn’t a match. Glyn Garner however has left Shrewsbury. He is currently injured but probably wouldn’t be playing even if he was fit so they’ve come to an agreement to let him go although the club will be supporting him as he recovers from his injury.
Torquay United v Dagenham & Redbridge
Dag & Red’s Tony Roberts might even have been confident of keeping some Torquay shots out of the back of his net. But he’ll have to wait for another time.
