Cardiff City v Crystal Palace
Cardiff hope to preserve their unbeaten home record when they face struggling Crystal Palace. As Palace are yet to pick up any points away, you’d have to say the odds were in Cardiff’s favour.
Craig Bellamy is unlikely to play against Crystal Palace but Darcy Blake should keep his place in the starting line-up. Jason Koumas is more likely to make another substitute appearance as he builds up his fitness. Adam Matthews and Aaron Wildig will probably be on the bench.
Andy Dorman will hope to be back in the starting line-up for Cardiff but he could be on the bench with Lewis Price again.
Coventry City v Doncaster Rovers
Doncaster suffered a rare defeat at the weekend but you might forgive them as they were playing Queen’s Park Rangers. Coventry’s defeat to Preston North End will be far more difficult to take – they started well but they have won only one of their last five games.
Freddy Eastwood won’t play for Coventry as he is recovering from a knee operation.
Brian Stock could join John Oster in the starting line-up after being on the bench against QPR. If Brian starts, it will be the 250th start of his career.
Derby County v Middlesbrough
Derby beat Crystal Palace 5-0 in their last game and now they face Middlesbrough, who are yet to win a match away. Derby haven’t beaten Middlesbrough for more than ten years.
Robbie Savage will hope to keep his place in Derby’s team after doing well last week. Gareth Roberts’ calf is still troubling him and he’s unlikely to play.
There’s nothing to suggest Boro will recall Danny Coyne to the starting line-up.
