Doncaster Rovers 0-0 Leeds United
Leeds were still in the Premier League when Doncaster were relegated from the football league but in this match there was nothing between them. It was goalless but not short of goal attempts.
John Oster was in Doncaster’s starting line-up and did his best to break the deadlock for his team, winning free kicks as well as testing out Leeds’ second-choice goalkeeper. Brian Stock, who has recently had a recurrence of his back problems, didn’t enter the fray until the 79th minute, when he replaced John.
Sanchez Watt was on the bench again for Leeds but he did get to make an appearance in the 85th minute. Blackburn loanee Jason Brown was also on the bench.
