Aaron Ramsey is on course to return to Arsenal action in November.
David Vaughan is confident that regular playing time in the Premier League with Blackpool will make him a better footballer.

One shirt Michael did get to wear again recently was a Liverpool shirt. He was part of the Liverpool side that faced an Everton XI in Jamie Carragher’s testimonial, a match that saw Carragher score a penalty for both teams. I wonder what Michael thought when Everton fan Carragher conceded a penalty, took it himself and fulfilled a childhood dream by slotting it past the Liverpool keeper. Gareth Bale says Wales’ match against Bulgaria can’t come quickly enough.
But for Real Madrid, maybe it’s January that won’t come soon enough. They’re expected to make a bid for Gareth.
Jack Collison says he should be back playing for West Ham United in January. In the meantime, he believes Avram Grant will help West Ham United to climb the table. Not that they could really go in any other direction. But he was sad to see Gianfranco Zola leave West Ham.
Goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann has told David Jones to stop being silly and sign a new contract. David is in the final year of his current contract and has been linked to Newcastle United. Chairman Jez Moxey has warned David that he won’t pay him more than is appropriate.
