Derby County v Watford
Watford take their excellent away record to Pride Park.Derby’s five-match unbeaten run came to an end against Millwall but if they win this, they will at least have won four consecutive home matches.
Robbie Savage will hope to start again for Derby Gareth Roberts made his comeback from a calf injury very late in the defeat to Millwall but he might not be ready to start. Even if he is ready, Derby were in a very good run until they encountered Millwall.
Jonathan Bond could be on the bench for Watford after returning from international duty with the under-19s.
Ipswich Town v Millwall
Ipswich’s unbeaten record has long gone and they’ve lost four of their last five matches. Millwall find themselves just two points away from the play-offs but they’ve only won once at Portman Road in the last six years.
Troy Brown should be in Ipswich’s squad somewhere.
Steve Morison will start for Millwall.
Leicester City v Preston North End
Only a win will ensure these two teams don’t slip back into the bottom three – and they can’t both have one. But with Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace both struggling, the chances are they’ll be all right. This time.
Andy King will probably keep his place in Leicester’s starting line-up – if he does, it will be his 100th start for Leicester, the day after his 22nd birthday. Landmark starts often seem to end up as birthday presents. It happened to Robbie Savage a few weeks ago.
Paul Parry could start after scoring twice for Preston’s reserves. Craig Morgan could be anywhere for all I know.
