There's been only one withdrawal in the past 24 hours and luckily that's only me which shouldn't make any difference at all. Except that Wales always win when I go so it should be quite easy to pick out which matches I've attended and which I haven't. My Welsh blood is obviously in my heart but I wonder if my English blood is located in my thyroid, there must be some reason why it doesn't want me to go to Wales.
Way-ulls, Way-ulls, Way-ulls! Or Cym-ru, Cym-ru, Cym-ru! as I prefer to say, just out of awkwardness really.
Brian Flynn thinks Wales can win tonight.
Brian says there’s more to Wales than just Craig Bellamy.
In fact, Craig isn’t guaranteed to have a place in future squads – he’ll only be there if he is one of the best.
Ashley Williams speaks about learning the Welsh national anthem with the help of Owain Tudur Jones. Ashley says it’s the best anthem in the world and I agree. I can’t hear it without wanting to stand up really straight.
Brian Flynn felt Ashley was the ‘natural choice’ for the captain’s armband.
Ashley’s manager at Swansea City, Brendan Rogers, thinks Ashley should become Wales’ permanent captain. I’m not so sure, what if Craig Bellamy gets in a strop and retires? I think Wales can do without him but they're even better with him.
Ashley has asked Cardiff City and Swansea City players not to boo each other’s players – there’s only one team playing tonight and that’s Wales.
Gareth Bale thinks Wales will qualify for another tournament soon.
Brian Stock explains his reasons for withdrawing from the Wales squad. They’re quite reasonable really. It doesn’t take much to aggravate a bad back. He just hopes his withdrawal won’t discourage Brian Flynn – or whoever is managing Wales – from picking him in the future.
Very…interesting revelations concerning Brian Flynn and Chris Gunter. Though he probably doesn’t mean it literally!
Robbie Savage believes he will never play for Wales again and he’s trying to come to terms with that. I hope he’s wrong. I love his enthusiasm and maybe he would have been picked if he was in good form. He did brilliantly last season but most players spend a bit of time off-form and Robbie is unfortunate that his off-form time has coincided with two Wales matches. I would really like to see him play for Wales again.
