Barnet were without new signing Grant Basey, who has an ankle injury.
Sam Wedgbury was on the bench for Macclesfield.

New loan signing Jason Price got his first start for Bradford.

Bury 1-0 Southend United
Peter Gilbert played the full match for Southend. Nathaniel Jarvis made another late substitute appearance.

Cheltenham Town 0-0 Port Vale
Josh Low played the full match for Cheltenham.
Gareth Owen was in defence for Port Vale.

Chesterfield 4-3 Shrewsbury Town
Shrewsbury came back from 4-0 down and almost got a draw.
Craig Davies scored twice and it was a good thing he did. The first time he scored, he got a yellow card for unsporting behaviour. I’m not sure exactly what he did but it’s a good thing he didn’t repeat it.
