Milton Keynes Dons v Colchester United
MK Dons are unbeaten at home, Colchester are unbeaten away. So maybe this will be a draw but MK Dons haven’t actually won many matches. But if it does get too bad, they can always lie back and think of Blackpool.
Jermaine Easter is one of 17 players who has played for MK Dons and Colchester and I’d expect him to play a part for MK Dons unless he gets confused and ends up playing a part for Colchester instead.
Lloyd James will probably be on the bench for Colchester. Lee Beevers is probably still out after his pram/hand injury.
Notts County v Sheffield Wednesday
Notts County’s aim is to be in the Premier League in the next five years but they might as well not bother really. Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, Southampton, MK Dons, Oldham, Swindon… if you can just ignore the Rochdales and the pub teams from Essex, it pretty much is the Premier League.
Ben Davies will probably pop up with another goal or assist for Notts County. Sheffield Wednesday probably hope he’s on the bench but they’re not quite so bad yet that Notts County are going to rest their best players.
Oldham Athletic v Leyton Orient
Leyton Orient haven’t won any away games this season and Oldham haven’t lost a home game. So I think Oldham will get really cocky and think Orient have no chance and Orient will sneak one in. Maybe,
Joe Jacobson will probably be on the bench for Oldham.
Plymouth Argyle v Hartlepool United
Plymouth hope to extend their unbeaten run to five games. Hartlepool have only won five altogether.
Carl Fletcher should start for Plymouth but he might still be in a strop about having to do jury service.
