Championship Fixtures 27th February Part 3

Sheffield United v Plymouth Argyle
Ched Evans is expected to start for Wales so a run-out with Sheffield United would be very useful. So let’s hope the manager can sort it. Carl Fletcher has retired from international football but he too has a very important job on his hands – saving Plymouth from relegation. He says they can do it and he’s certainly playing his part, although survival looks far from certain.

Swansea City v Peterborough United

Ashley Williams has a good chance of starting and I hope David Cotterill will. Jazz Richards is also likely to start in defence after impressing recently but Joe Allen is likely to be out for a month with a knee injury. Craig Morgan will be very happy to be playing for Wales, perhaps this will inspire him against Swansea.

West Bromwich Albion v Derby County

As predicted, Robbie Savage was far from happy when he saw how dangerous the tackle on him last weekend really was. It really could have ended his career. Never mind that it’s difficult to imagine anyone getting into a battle with Robbie – Derby’s new go-karting champion - and not coming off worse. Maybe Robbie needs a pay rise though. His wife can’t afford hand cream.
