Premier League Fixtures 17th February

Wigan Athletic v Bolton Wanderers
Both sides are nearer to the relegation zone than they want to be (although I suppose the same could be said about Manchester United, currently second in the table) so they’ll both be wanting three points from this (just as I’m sure they do for almost every other game).
Jason Koumas isn’t in the squad and it looks like he’s going to go on loan. West Brom look like the most likely club at the moment but I’d rather he went to Cardiff because they wanted him before and they are really struggling for players at the moment. But anywhere where he’s going to be appreciated would be great.
Sam Ricketts could be playing centre back again for Bolton but I expect him to keep his place in the side. Okay so he conceded a penalty in the last game but it was very harsh and Tottenham missed it so no harm done.

Crystal Palace v Reading
It’s the battle of two of the FA Cup giant-killers. Reading need a win to climb out of the relegation zone. Palace need a draw to ensure they don’t slide into it. Simon Church looks very likely to start as one of their main goalscorers is suspended and another is an injury doubt.

Newcastle United v Coventry City
Newcastle have injured players all over the place so Coventry’s Freddy Eastwood may fancy his chances. I fancy his chances too and I want to see him in the Wales v Sweden squad.
