Premier League Fixtures 27th February

Birmingham v Wigan Athletic
Jason Koumas is again not in the matchday squad. Birmingham still have a chance of playing in the Europa League but Wigan are thinking more of the Championship. Jason is still a Wigan player, having persuaded Ben Watson to go to West Brom on loan which probably means they won’t need Jason after all. Middlesbrough are allegedly after him though.

Bolton Wanderers v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Sam Ricketts should start for Bolton in this relegation three-pointer (yes a three-pointer, they’re not going to get more than three points) for Wanderers and Wanderers. Dave Edwards is still out with an ankle injury but Wolves should have Wayne Hennessey and Sam Vokes on the bench. (Well actually, Wolves should have Wayne and Sam in the team but I bet they won’t.

Chelsea v Manchester City
This match has already started so I can’t really claim to be psychic but it would be so nice of Manchester City could win this with a goal or two from Craig Bellamy… It would also be nice if Chelsea could put Rhys Taylor on the bench as Petr Cech is out but they haven’t.

Stoke City v Arsenal
Arsenal face their bogey team again and they’ve still got half the squad out, or so it seems. Ryan Shawcross, who this week said he didn’t want to play for Wales, looks certain to start. Stoke’s suspended defenders return so Danny Collins could drop to the bench. But he might not if Danny Higginbotham fails to recover from a back injury. Injured backs are horrible though so I kind of hope he does recover.
Aaron Ramsey has a good chance of playing for Arsenal.
