Premier League Results 4th April

Everton 2-2 West Ham United
West Ham fought back to earn a much-needed point against Europe League-hopefuls Everton. I actually don’t want West Ham to go down because they have a lovely manager who only played for Chelsea when they weren’t that good. But I want Hull to stay up more. I’ve loved them ever since they beat Tottenham Hotspur (I’ve completely forgotten whom they beat the week before that, so don’t remind me).
West Ham were hoping Jack Collison would be sufficiently recovered from his knee injury to be on the bench but he wasn’t there. And he won’t be there again this season. It was hoped that Jack would be able to play through his knee problems but they are so severe, he needs surgery sooner rather than later.. (Maybe in some ways it’s a good thing Wales aren’t in the World Cup this year…)
Danny Gabbidon was and he made his appearance in the 94th minute. And West Ham didn’t let in another goal.

Fulham 2-1 Wigan Athletic
Fulham are probably the most tired team in the Premier League but they produced a great performance to strengthen their chance of another top table finish. Wigan looked briefly hopeful when Jason Scotland scored his first Premier League goal (it might have been more reason to celebrate if he hadn’t been at the club for seven months) but Fulham fought back to take the point, leaving Wigan in a spot of bother.
Simon Davies again played 90 (or probably about 95) minutes for Fulham. Jason Koumas wasn’t in Wigan’s squad.
