Scunthorpe United 2-4 Blackpool
Scunthorpe United remain in relegation trouble as three late goals for Blackpool keep them just one point outside the play-off places.
I would love to say it was the introduction of David Vaughan after 64 minutes inspired Blackpool to go for the win but the non-Welsh players probably had a bit of a say too. Rob Edwards again failed to get off Blackpool’s bench but at least BBC Sport likes him. In fact, BBC Sport thinks Rob is a Premier League player who played for Wolverhampton Wanderers on 3rd April (I think they actually meant Dave Edwards but I’m sure Rob won’t mind). Neal Eardley and Daniel Nardiello (sent back from his loan to Oldham Athletic) were both out, probably for the season, with hamstring injuries.
West Bromwich Albion 3-0 Leicester City
West Brom gave their chances of automatic promotion a big boost while Leicester’s play-off challenge looks in danger of crumbling.
A lot of the Wales players have had back problems this week. Andy King’s back was one of the few that managed to make it onto the field but Andy probably wished he’d left his back behind when it accidentally provided the assist for West Brom’s opening goal.
Nicky Adams came off the bench after 61 minutes. He had an attempt on goal but it was saved.
