League One Fixtures 3rd April

Brighton & Hove Albion OFF Southampton
This match is off as it’s already been played. Which seems fair enough to me.

Carlisle United OFF Bristol Rovers
See above.

Leeds United v Swindon Town

Leeds could lose top spot tonight of Millwall beat Brentford – and with Swindon on such good form, there’s no guarantee Leeds will get it back again tomorrow.
Sanchez Watt has signed for Leeds on loan from Arsenal but it yet to feature, although he’s expected to play some part in this match.
Billy Bodin could be on the bench for Swindon. Billy has been offered a professional contract with the club and his manager thinks he has a big future.

Milton Keynes Dons v Charlton Athletic

MK Dons aren’t completely out of the play-off reckoning but it’s not looking likely. Charlton can probably hang onto their play-off spot but you can never be sure in football.
Jermaine Easter’s target before the season started was to reach twenty goals – and he’s done it. He’s only the second MK Dons player to score 20 goals in the same season. I wonder what his new target is. Grant Basey has started rehabilitation work on his ankle injury. but he won’t play for Charlton again this season.

Oldham Athletic v Gillingham
Oldham are only two points outside the relegation zone so a win would be very useful – and very possibly, as Gillingham have only six points from their away games this season, all from draws.
Oldham have sent Daniel Nardiello back to Blackpool as his hamstring is likely to keep him out for the rest of the season. Oldham also have Joe Jacobson on the injury list.

Southend United v Yeovil Town
A win for Southend could take them out of the bottom four and Yeovil aren’t looking quite as safe as they were either – they’re now just six points outside the relegation zone.
Yeovil defender and assistant manager Nathan Jones says his side have a number of niggles – possibly including himself, as he hasn’t been in the matchday squad for a while – but nothing too serious.
This will be the final game of Gavin Williams’ ban after he was sent off during an eventful debut for Yeovil. Arron Davies is in which a good chance of starting alongside Shaun MacDonald.

Stockport County v Walsall
Stockport have had a bad season but they’re not relegated yet and they won’t be even if they lose this match. They could in theory finish mid-table although it’s probably impossible for the fixtures to work out in their favour.
Owain fon Williams should play in goal for Stockport. Rhys Weston is likely to start in defence for Walsall with Mark Bradley on the bench.

Tranmere Rovers OFF Norwich City
This fixture was moved to the preceding day.
