Leeds United 0-3 Swindon Town
Swindon won the match to claim second spot at the expense of Millwall. Leeds are now fourth and although they still have a good chance of automatic promotion, they will need to turn around the poor form that has seen them lose a 12-point lead at the top of the table.
Sanchez Watt, on loan from Arsenal, was on the bench for Leeds but he didn’t get onto the pitch.
Milton Keynes Dons 0-1 Charlton Athletic
MK Dons’ play-off hopes really do look over now but Charlton have turned their bad form around and still have a good chance of automatic promotion.
Jermaine Easter played the full match for Leeds but it wasn’t a happy Easter for the Dons, he forced a good save from Charlton’s keeper but couldn’t find the back of the net. Charlton were without ankle ligament victim Grant Basey.
Southend United 0-0 Yeovil Town
Yeovil are beginning to look precarious again after only managing a draw – although they are in a much better position than 22nd-placed Southend.
Shaun MacDonald was one player who came close to breaking the deadlock for Yeovil but it didn’t happen. Nathan Jones was on Yeovil’s bench but there was no sign of Arron Davies – Yeovil have six loan players but could only use five and Arron was the unlucky one. Gavin Williams served the final match of his three-match ban.
Stockport County 1-1 Walsall
Stockport continued to fight against relegation and to be fair they’re not as close to it as some of the other bottom teams in the four leagues. But Walsall, resigned to finishing mid-table after a good play-off challenge earlier in the season, wouldn’t let them have more than a point.
Owain fon Williams played in goal for Stockport. Rhys Weston was in defence for Walsall and there was also a late substitue appearance for Mark Bradley.
