Championship News 20th November

Barnsley v Cardiff City
Adam Matthews won’t play for Cardiff against Barsnley due to a groin injury Joe Ledley is fit as far as I know.

Coventry v Crystal Palace

Freddy Eastwood of Coventry will be hoping to continue his recent good form. You never know, he might even get into the next Wales squad.

Doncaster v QPR
Brian Stock is hoping to be back for Doncaster in mid January.

Ipswich Town v Sheffield Wednesday
What a boring fixture. Troy Brown could be on the bench for Ipswich but that’s all I can say.

Leicester City v Plymouth Argyle
Carl Fletcher her served a one-match ban and should play for Plymouth but Darcy Blake is still suspended. There’s always one. Andy King seemed to have no trouble with his hand (unlike Thierry Henry) when he played for Wales and he is in Leicester’s squad, alongside Nicky Adams.

Middlesbrough v Nottingham Forest
Forest’s Chris Gunter missed the Wales v Scotland match with a viral infection. I was going to send him a card but he’s only gone and got better. Oh well, it’s nice to know Wales has one tough man.
Robert Earnshaw could also play but Middlesbrough’s Danny Coyne probably won’t. Rhys Williams was sent off in his game for Australia so he shouldn’t be too tired to play for Middlesbrough.
