Premiership Results 22nd November

Bolton Wanderers 0-2 Blackburn Rovers
Sam Ricketts was in Bolton’s starting line-up but he ended up scoring Blackburn’s second goal for them. Poor Sam, I hope his team-mates all give him a hug but it was the goalkeeper’s fault really. Sam did have a good game apart from that. Without his clearances and blocks Blackburn could have won by more.
Jason Brown stayed on the bench for Blackburn.

Stoke City 1-0 Portsmouth
Danny Collins and Ryan Shawcross both started for Stoke. Ryan nearly scored early in the second half and Danny did his defensive duties well but the nasty Portsmouth players kept trying to beat them up. Portsmouth got a penalty but luckily they’re as bad at penalties as they are at everything else.

Tottenham Hostpur 1-0 Wigan Athletic
1-0 was the halftime score. I can’t tell you the full-time score because it hurts. Let’s just put it this way, Arsenal no longer hold the record for the most goals scored in one match this season and I’ll be very surprised if any team scores more than Tottenham. I hate Tottenham. I hope they don’t get into the Champions’’ League but still better them than Man Shitty.
Gareth Bale was not in Tottenham’s matchday squad, perhaps due to the injury/illness that ruled him out of the Wales under-21 game on Wednesday. If you are ill or injured, Gareth, get well soon! If Harry Redknapp’s just being a wanker don’t give up, he can’t leave you out forever. Maybe you could get hold of some incriminating photos of current left back Benoit Assou-Ekotto dancing a nightclub with drink poured down the front of his trousers..
Jason Koumas was on the bench for Wigan. They really should have let him play. He couldn’t have done worse than the midfielders who did play.
Some think Wigan’s goal shouldn’t have been allowed but I think they should have been allowed to score a whole lot more. Ten goals would have done the job.
