Championship Results November 7th Part 2

Stupid blog site won't let me have more than 200 characters in my labels. Actually I love the blog site and it's still my favourite place to blog but I'm a bit annoyed okay? But not with the Welsh players. I'm still completely positive about the Wales players.

Swansea City 3-2 Cardiff City
In some ways, this can only ever be a good match. Whatever happens, a Welsh side will win. Unfortunately I’ve developed quite an affection for Cardiff, who are my official favourite Welsh team and as a result I’m not overly fond of Swansea.
So it was a little bit devastating when Cardiff went from 2-0 down to 2-2, only for Swansea to find a winner. It was good to see Ashley Williams (who got an assist) and Joe Allen (who nearly scored) on the winning side but it’s still a great shame that Joe Ledley and Adam Matthews (who also got an assist) lost. Joe felt Cardiff should have been awarded a penalty after Ashley handled the ball but perhaps he wasn’t referring to the football.
Maybe David Cornell should have played in goal for Swansea as he’s been picked for the Wales squad. It would have been good experience for him and it might have helped Cardiff.

Watford 2-0 Preston
Young goalkeeper Jonathan Bond stayed on the bench but Watford still managed to get a clean sheet. Jonathan must have very long arms. Part of Preston’s problem was probably that they left Paul Parry on the bench. Preston manager Alan Irvine finally saw sense on 66 minutes but it was a bit late by then.
