Joe Ledley played the full match for Cardiff and seems in good shape. Adam Matthews came on as a substitute. Without their clearances Cardiff might have ended up with no points at all.
Rhys Williams was back in Middlesbrough’s starting line-up and as he only let one goal in and he nearly scored you can’t say he did too badly. Danny Coyne was on the bench. He’s another of those Welsh goalkeepers who should possibly be recalled to the first team. You can’t say it didn’t work for Boaz Myhill and Mark Crossley.
