Premiership Results 28th December

Blackburn Rovers 2-2 Sunderland
Jason Brown sat on the bench for this match. Paul Robinson has been struggling but Sam Allardyce only seems to give Jason a chance for Cup matches. Good news: the next match is a Cup match.

Chelsea 2-1 Fulham
Simon Davies again wasn’t fit enough for the bench as sneaky Chelsea came back from 1-0 down the annoying way they usually do.

Stoke City 0-1 Birmingham City
Ryan Shawcross was back in the starting line-up and played the full game despite not looking fully fit. But he should get some rest at the weekend as he’s picked up his fifth yellow card and will be suepended. Danny Collins was on the bench again and is more than capable of stepping up to replace Ryan. Danny was named North East Football Writers’ Player of the Year for a reason… and it’s not athough he plays in the North East! Well not anymore.
Stoke seem to have lost their touch a bit but I’m sure Tony Pulis can turn it around. And Birmingham are looking scary. I’d like to see Joe Hart in the England squad and I don’t even support England (as you might have guessed).

Tottenham Hotspue 2-0 West Ham United
Tottenham could have scored a lot more than this but the important thing was Gareth Bale came on in the 87th minute and got another win. Danny Gabbidon didn’t play for West Ham to due to injury but Jack Collison was again their most creative player.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-3 Manchester City

Craig Bellamy was restored to Manchester City’s starting line-up and he got the assist for the first goal. He could have scored too but everyone misses sometimes. Wayne Hennessey stayed on the bench for Wolves, Dave Edwards is still injured but he is hoping to return in January.
