League One Results 28th December Part 2

Stockport County 2-4 Leeds United
Stockport lost again but their performance this time was encouraging. Stockport were even 2-1 up at some stage. I still think they’ll go down, especially as they’ll have to sell some of their best players like goalkeeper Owain fon Williams, and loanee Christian Ribeiro has been recalled early by Bristol City. But on this evidence, they can put up a good fight. And who knows? Stranger things have happened. Like Leeds spending three seasons in League One.
Sam Vokes wasn’t in Leeds’ squad again.

Tranmere Rovers 0-0 Carlisle United

Ash Taylor came close to scoring as Tranmere got a valuable point (although a win would have been better) at home to Carlisle.

Wycombe Wanderers 2-5 Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton’s captain Andrew Crofts was suspended for this game but they didn’t do a bad job without him. They were without Craig Davies too – he stayed on the bench.
