Cheltenham Town 0-1 Bournemouth
Joe Partington was a doubt for Bournemouth after illness but he didn’t just play, he STARTED. He got a yellow card but never mind, everyone gets those sometimes. Just don’t get two!
Josh Low played for Cheltenham.
Lincoln City 2-1 Chesterfield
Mark Crossley was given a second consecutive start for Chesterfield but he couldn’t quite keep his winning run going. As I expected, Anthony Pulis is still too injured to play for Lincoln.
Northampton Town 1-0 Dagenham & Redbridge
Peter Gilbert was on the winning side but it was another bad day for Tony Roberts as Dag & Red lost again.
Port Vale OFF Burton Albion
Probably only until Lewis Haldane can play for Port Vale again, as long as they get the paperwork sorted (and as long as Port Vale actually have a match that day). Gareth Owen also gets a nice day off to recover from dinner yesterday (I bet even footballers eat too much on Christmas Day. It’s not always easy to say no where relatives are concerned).
Torquay 1-0 Hereford United
Ryan Green didn’t win but it was close and you wouldn’t be at your best either if someone threw a bottle at your head
