Premier League Results 29th December

Aston Villa 0-1 Liverpool
Aston Villa have started struggling and whilst losing to Arsenal is of course perfectly acceptable, losing to Liverpool is something of a disappointment. Time to restore James Collins to the starting line-up, I think.

Bolton Wanderers 2-2 Hull City
It was one of those six-pointer affairs but in the end both teams could come away with only one. Bolton manager Gary Megson was sacked as a result. Let’s hope the new manager will play Sam Ricketts. Boaz Myhill played in goal for Hull and as usual made some great saves.
