League One Results 30th January Part 3

Southampton 2-0 Stockport County

Stockport were just getting the hang off this drawing-matches thing when Southampton came along and spoiled it all. Lloyd James missed the match due to an ankle injury but Southampton didn’t need to bring in either of their other Welsh players, Anthony Pulis and Ryan Doble. Owain fon Williams played in goal for Stockport and he probably did a lot better than the scoreline suggests.

Yeovil Town 0-1 Huddersfield Town
Yeovil could have got themselves an equaliser (then possibly gone on to win the game) when they got a penalty but even the best penalty-takers miss sometimes. Owain Tudur Jones, on loan from Norwich, made his debut for Yeovil in midfield. Nathan Jones and Shaun MacDonald, himself on loan from Swansea, also played for Yeovil.
