Charlton Athletic v Southend United
Grant Basey will probably play left back again as the other one’s still injured. There aren’t many good left backs in the world but Wales seem to have millions
Colchester United v Bristol Rovers
Byron Anthony was disappointed to be on the bench last week so I hope he gets to play as he’s done well. One of Bristol Rovers’ centre backs plays for Colchester so Byron might replace him.
There is speculation that Rhys Evans will get a start as their regular goalkeeper has been having trouble with making saves.
So maybe Ben Swallow will be in the starting line-up too. Who knows? They can all talk Welsh together. Colchester’s only Welsh player is Lee Beevers and he’s injured so it will be like having their own secret code.
Exeter City v Brighton & Hove Albion
Richard Duffy got a dead leg last week (forget the groin epidemic, it’s dead leg time) but Exeter are hoping it comes back to life again before the match.
Poor Craig Davies. He was getting ready to come off Brighton’s bench when the player he was supposed to be replacing went and scored a goal. Let’s hope he’s luckier this week.
Andrew Crofts is very happy with Brighton’s new manager Gus Poyet. And probably not just because he made Andrew captain.
Arron Davies probably isn’t quite as keen on Poyet however. His loan has been cancelled and he’s been sent back to Nottingham. Nottingham is a much nicer place than Brighton – I think Brighton’s a bit tacky – but poor Arron.
Hartlepool United v Millwall
I just found out Millwall manager Kenny Jackett is a Welshman. I can trust him to play Jason Price then.
Leeds United v Huddersfield Town
Leeds have lots of options up front so Sam Vokes might not play.
