Blackpool 1-2 Leicester City
Leicester are back in the play-off places after beating rivals Blackpool in a match either team could have won, Neal Eardley was back in the starting line-up alongside David Vaughan with Rob Edwards on the bench and Daniel Nardiello out of the squad altogether. Andy King looked a real threat for Leicester and came very close to a goal himself.
Bristol City 1-1 Coventry City
Freddy Eastwood was back in the starting line-up for Coventry but couldn’t manage to get past Bristol City’s Lewin Nyatanga. Even once Lewin was substituted, Freddy still couldn’t find the back of the net but he was substituted himself two minutes later. Gavin Williams again wasn’t in Bristol City’ squad.
Doncaster Rovers 1-2 Reading
Reading were 2-0 up against Doncaster after 77 minutes but after they went a man down two minutes later and subsequently conceded a penalty, they must have been at least a little bit worried. But they managed to keep it at 2-1 and the biggest worry for Reading now is that substitute Simon Church helped to set up the second goal but lasted just twelve minutes before being substituted but I don’t think he was actually injured. Gareth Roberts could have scored again if his shot hadn’t been handled on the line with John Oster also coming close to a goal and Brian Stock nearly getting Doncaster a point in the closing stages.
