Fulham v Burnley
Simon Davies wasn’t able to return to Fulham’s squad for Saturday’s match after all but he should return for this mach.
Manchester City v Bolton Wanderers
Manchester City will be hoping to bounce back from their defeat to Hull but Craig Bellamy’s dodgy knee has flared up again and he probably won’t be able to play. (It’s my fault, Craig. I was just saying yesterday how good it was that your knee had been okay for so long. So maybe if I say you won’t be recovered in time for Wales v Sweden, maybe that will mean you will be fine?) Craig’s absence will make things slightly easier for Sam Ricketts and the rest of Bolton’s defence but they still have players like Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor to deal with.
Wigan Athletic v Stoke City
Jason Koumas could well be nowhere to be seen again as Wigan try to revive their season against Stoke – who aren’t nearly as good away as they are at home. They might still be better than Wigan though. Ryan Shawcross will probably be in defence for Stoke but the good news for Wigan is that Danny Collins should be on the bench.
