Stockport County v Milton Keynes Dons
Owain fon Williams will be hoping not to let in too many goals but MK Dons’ Jermaine Easter will be doing his best to reignite his scoring run and make up for the loss of loan star Jason Puncheon.
Swindon Town v Charlton Athletic
Two former Premier League sides meet as stuttering Charlton visit Swindon, a team who are looking more likely for the play-offs with every match. Grant Basey was dropped for the midweek draw against Walsall but he is a possibility to play left back.
Tranmere Rovers v Oldham Athletic
Tranmere have gradually been fighting their way out of the relegation places, with Ash Taylor a key player for them, and now lie just two points from safety, behind Oldham only on goal difference. Oldham lost to Millwall in their last game but Millwall have helped them out by kindly letting them borrow striker Jason Price, who is likely to start. Jason’s new team-mates include Joe Jacobson.
Walsall v Bristol Rovers
Walsall’s Rhys Weston left the pitch after just eight minutes of their last match and is out with another calf injury. Some sources say he’s no more than a doubt, Express and Star thinks he could be out for the whole of February as he’s torn his hamstring. Mark Bradley spent that match on the bench but maybe he’ll be recalled for this game.
Byron Anthony has forced his way back into Bristol Rovers’ startling line-up whilst Ben Swallow also has a good chance of being in the startling line-up due to an injury to one of the regulars. David Pipe has returned to Bristol Rovers after his loan spell at Cheltenham came to an end so he could be in the squad somewhere.
