League One Results 6th February Part 2

Stockport County 1-3 Milton Keynes Dons
Stockport were 1-0 up after 11 minutes but if goalkeeper Owain fon Williams had any secret hopes of keeping a clean sheet, they were soon to be dashed when Jermaine Easter got MK Dons’ equaliser. Maybe if Stockport had scored their penalty things could have been different.

Swindon Town 1-1 Charlton Athletic

Grant Basey was back in Charlton’s starting line-up but he didn’t play the full match and it wasn’t until the second minute of stoppage time that Charlton snatched their point.

Tranmere Rovers 0-1 Oldham Athletic
Jason Price didn’t score in his first game for Oldham but he was clearly a good influence as Oldham beat relegation rivals Tranmere and clinbed out of the bottom three on goal difference. Joe Jacobson was in defence for Oldham as was Ash Taylor, only he was playing for Tranmere.

Walsall 0-0 Bristol Rovers
Walsall haven’t won any of their last eight games but they were without the injured Rhys Weston and (until he came off the bench after 79 minutes) Mark Bradley. Byron Anthony played in defence for Bristol Rovers but Rovers made no substitutions at all so Ben Swallow stayed on the bench.

Wycombe Wanderers 1-4 Yeovil Town

Yeovil’s Welsh players put on a good shot in a comfortable victory over Wycombe. Shaun MacDonald and Owain Tudur Jones worked together brilliantly in midfield – and it wasn’t just me who noticed that, their manager Terry Skiverton noticed it too. Shaun helped to set up the second goal with Owain going one better and scoring the third from a free kick. Yeovil defender Nathan Jones was rested.
