Accrington Stanley v Morecambe
Darren Moss is likely to be on the bench again for Morecambe. If Accrington win, they’ll be very much in the play-off picture which would be great to see but as they don’t have any Welsh players I’m afraid I’ll have to support Morecambe – who are themselves fairly new to the League and not that far from the play-offs either although they have played more games than most.
Bournemouth v Cheltenham Town
Rhoys Wiggins made his second loan debut for Bournemouth last week and played well so he should keep his place but he does have a knee niggle. He is expected to play though so presumably it’s a different knee niggle from the knee niggle that caused him to lose his place at Norwich.
Joe Partington is described as a ‘long-term absentee’ and seems unlikely to return from a back injury. David Pipe won’t be playing for Cheltenham as his loan spell has ended and he’s returned to Bristol Rovers and Josh Low is one of the players in contention to replace him at right back. But Josh should play somewhere else if he can’t play there.
Bradford City v Bury
Michael Flynn should be in Bradford’s starting line-up again. The former Premier League side seem to have little chance of making either the play-offs or the relegation battle but maybe they can surprise me. They certainly surprised me when they survived their first season in the Premier League.
